Sustainability

Reduction of Packaging Waste

A key component of sustainable jewellery production is the reduction of packaging waste. We have opted to use 100% recycled and biodegradable materials for all of our packaging. This approach not only reflects Naked Society’s commitment to sustainability but also reduces waste and the likelihood of products getting damaged.

By embracing these sustainable practices, Naked Society is contributing to a more sustainable and eco-friendly fashion industry. This aligns with the needs and preferences of our environmentally-conscious consumers, who are increasingly seeking out eco-friendly accessories and ethical jewellery.

Manufacturer

Our casting manufacturer is certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). The RJC established the standard for sustainability and responsible business practices in the jewellery industry. When a manufacturer is certified by the RJC, it means that they have been vetted and are committed to ethical and sustainable production practices. The RJC’s standards focus on areas like responsible supply chain management and ethical material sourcing, among others. Our casting manufacturer only uses recycled and sustainably sourced materials, for more information please view our ‘925 Sterling Silver’ page.

Furthermore, we also use a domestic manufacturer, based in Sydney NSW. This enables us to shrink our carbon footprint by reducing the amount of travel and transportation required to get our products from point A to point B.
